An employee from a thrift store brought a painting to my office and asked if we wanted it because they were going to throw it away. He wanted to keep it out of the landfill if it had a use. I jumped up and said I'll take it sight unseen. So I took it home that night and painted over it leaving some elements. This is what it turned into. As an artist I feel bad that someone's art was headed to a dumpster. Hopefully they would prefer doing a collaboration with me rather than having their art destroyed. The original painting didn't have a name. Now it's called "Pineapple Express" (after the jet stream not the movie, no offense Seth Rogan you're hilarious).
